Steve Marks graduated in 1964 with a Bachelors Degree from UCLA’s School of Engineering and then attended the Graduate School of Business.

While in graduate school, Steve started Acoustic Control Corporation and functioned as President and CEO. The company successfully designed and manufactured amplification equipment for the music industry and was known for some of the finest quality professional equipment. By 1974, Acoustic employed 425 people and its products were sold and distributed worldwide. Acoustic Control Corporation was sold in 1983.

Steve went on to co-found ACT Litigation Services (ACT) in September of 1984, where he functioned as the company’s President and CEO until the thriving company was purchased by DiscoverReady in July of 2011. Steve then joined the management team at DiscoverReady.
