More Services

Because one size does not fit all, we have many ways to approach discovery.

Because document review is our focal point, we offer a variety of discovery services to meet the needs of every facet of the e-discovery process. We employ exhaustive data analysis to ensure efficacy of search terms, store data decisions for clients so that we may use them together in future matters, sift through bulk email to simplify discovery, and find and implement better ways to protect our clients’ privacy. All of this means that we mitigate risk for clients, increase efficiency and accuracy, and reduce costs.

We do not try to force all matters into the same process. We have various tools to handle different aspects of document review, and our clients can use some—or all—of them.

PreView™  and iterative analysis

Our PreView gives clients a bird’s-eye view of collected data—providing insight into the frequency and impact of specific search terms, the presence or absence of data during key time periods, and the volumes and types of data for each custodian. Working closely with our Dynamic Data Analysis™ team, clients use PreView reports to ensure the efficacy of search terms, establish budgets, define timelines and resource commitments and, most importantly, provide the information necessary for counsel to effectively develop case strategies and support negotiations with regulators or opposing parties.

PrivView™

Using our PrivView consulting services, we take our expertise in electronic discovery one step further. Understanding that the identification of privileged information is essential in the document review process, our team assists clients in automating the privilege screening process to quickly identify, analyze and segregate potentially privileged information.

DiscoveryBank™

For clients that we work with on an ongoing basis, we have the ability to deploy our DiscoveryBank, reusing content analysis and data decisions from one matter to the next. Through the consistent use of DiscoveryBank, we are able to maintain a complete record of the “life” of a document across all matters, including a log of all review decisions and productions.

BizBlast reviews

BizBlast is designed to quickly identify and segregate non-substantive bulk business email, further streamlining the e-discovery process. Fully customizable, we apply case specifics to cull bulk emails (for example, a daily email regarding cafeteria menus or HR communications about a United Way campaign); this information is banked so that it can be applied quickly and efficiently in future reviews.

Personal privacy screens

The increasing focus on privacy issues, ranging from unintended disclosure of health and medical records to publication of personal financial information, has impacted regulatory and litigation matters, increasing the sensitivity of produced documents and their associated risks without being considered to violate privacy. DiscoverReady has significant expertise in using physical and automated methods to identify and protect our clients’ and their employees’ personal information.
