DiscoverReady Storms Texas at the ACCOctober 29th, 2010
Earlier this week, the DiscoverReady team participated in the Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting in San Antonio. Conference highlights ranged from a musical revue on attorney ethics performed by the Texas Chapter of the ACC, to a lunchtime discussion between the legal heads of technology giants Microsoft and Google.
After nearly two years of marginally attended trade shows nationally, it was great to see a conference in full swing, with plenty of attendees and a solid group of sponsors. It was also nice to see so many corporate counsel actively attending the education tracks. In general, the panels were well organized and it was clear that the panel participants had not just settled for war stories, but had put forth a real effort to deliver quality content. We were also pleased by the activity at our booth, where i-Decision™ was prominently showcased, and the high level of interest and e-discovery sophistication of so many senior in-house attorneys.
Kudos and thanks to the ACC organizers and we’ll see you in Denver!
P.S. Our San Francisco leader, Maureen O’Neill, will be speaking on Optimizing Document Review on November 9 at the 8th Annual Corporate Counsel West Coast Conference. She will also have in hand DiscoverReady’s newest white paper (released concurrent with the conference) on best practices for achieving quality in document review. We hope that if you’re in the area, you’ll stop by to see her presentation.
