She is the founder and president of Digital Stewardship Strategies, guiding organizations to
set strategies to implement ethical approaches to privacy and digital stewardship. Barb is
the former CPO at Intuit, makers of TurboTax®, QuickBooks®, and Mint® where she lead
global implementation of data stewardship, privacy by design and ethical data innovation
directly benefiting consumers. Intuit finished in the top 10 “Most Trusted Company for
Privacy” since 2006. Before Intuit, Barb was the first CPO of Hewlett Packard, where she
previously spent several years in data management, marketing and privacy roles.
