As more corporations move their enterprise data to the cloud, many choose to migrate to the Microsoft Office 365 environment. This transition requires legal professionals—both in-house and at law firms—to adjust their current eDiscovery processes and workflows.

In this program we will discuss how to use Office 365 to support litigation and regulatory discovery, what to consider as you update internal eDiscovery programs, and what risks may arise for downstream processes and workflows. The panel of experts will also explore analytics strategies, and best practices for information search and retrieval, within an Office 365 environment.

Panama Papers and Mossack Fonseca. . . Russian cybercriminals targeting AmLaw 100 firms. . . Attacks on law firm information security now make major news headlines. Why? Because hackers have discovered what lawyers and clients have always known—clients entrust law firms with their most secret, most valuable, and most risky information.

Whether the threat comes from outside hackers, or malicious but ‘trusted’ insiders, or well-intentioned but careless staff – law firms face information security vulnerabilities. In this program, a panel of experienced in-house professionals—and one of the country’s top law firm security experts—will examine the root causes of this problem. And then they will offer their best strategies for clients and their outside counsel to shore up privacy and security, and better protect their digital ‘crown jewels.’
